Chris Cook won the inaugural Racing Reporter of the Year at the Derby Awards in 2012 and reclaimed the title two years’ later. His second award was based on three submitted articles including the 40th anniversary of the Gay Future betting coup. He was also short listed for the Racing Writer of the Year award in 2010. Greg Wood was named Journalist of the Year at the Derby Awards in 2009 and won the 2013 SJA Sports Betting Journalist of the Year. He won widespread acclaim for his articles on the drugs scandal in racing in 2013. Greg has also worked for The Independent, the Irish Independent and the Irish Times. He is a fan of Brighton & Hove Albion and Barcelona and a keen follower of basketball. He lists his favourite racehorses as Mtoto, Mr Frisk and Raven’s Pass.
