How Our Horse Racing Tips Work
The tips on this page come from real tipsters competing in our league table, ranked by all-time results across UK and Irish racing since 2018. For each race on today's card, the displayed tip belongs to the highest-ranked tipster who has published a selection in that race. If a higher-ranked tipster later publishes in the same race, the tip updates. All selections lock at 12:00 BST.
Every tipster has a public profile showing their complete record — every pick and every outcome. Browse course-specific records through the racecourse directory below, or visit our best horse racing tipsters page for the full standings.
A strong ranking reflects past results, not future outcomes. Always do your own research before placing a bet.
What Else Is on The Tipster League
Beyond today's race-by-race tips, the site publishes several other pages drawn from the same pool of ranked tipsters:
- Nap of the day — the single most popular selection across the site, updated daily.
- Lucky 15 tips — four selections combined into 15 bets (four singles, six doubles, four trebles, one four-fold). One winner returns a payout, though it may not cover the total stake.
- Accumulator tips — multiple selections in one bet, with returns rolling from leg to leg. All legs must win, and adding more legs always reduces the probability.
- Market movers — tracks significant shifts in the betting markets across the day's racing.
Each page updates as more picks come in through the morning.
Tips by Racecourse
Every UK and Irish racecourse has its own page on The Tipster League, with today's and tomorrow's race-by-race tips alongside course-specific data. The racecourse directory on this page links to all of them. Here are some of the most popular:
Major flat courses: Ascot, Doncaster, Epsom, Goodwood, Newbury, Newmarket, York
Major jumps courses: Aintree, Cheltenham, Exeter, Haydock, Kempton, Sandown
All-weather courses: Chelmsford, Dundalk, Lingfield, Newcastle, Southwell, Wolverhampton
Course pages include a "Top Tipsters" section showing which tipsters have the strongest records at that track, draw bias data broken down by distance (flat courses), and tables of leading jockeys, trainers, and owners.
UK and Irish racing runs year-round. The flat turf season broadly covers March to November, with all-weather racing at Chelmsford, Lingfield, Newcastle, Southwell, Wolverhampton, and Dundalk filling the gaps. National Hunt racing is concentrated in the winter months but runs from October through to late spring, with the Cheltenham Festival in March and the Grand National meeting at Aintree in April as the highlights.
What Makes The Tipster League Different
Most tipping sites publish selections from anonymous editorial teams or paid-for algorithms. On The Tipster League, every tipster is a named individual with a publicly tracked record from the day they joined. Every selection — win or lose — is recorded before the race and published on their profile.
The tips on this page are not editorial picks chosen behind closed doors. They are determined entirely by the league standings: the highest-ranked tipster who has tipped in a given race fills that slot. You can check their record at the specific course and decide for yourself whether their track record is worth paying attention to.
Horse racing is unpredictable, and even the highest-ranked tipsters have losing runs — all of which are visible on their profiles. The league table tracks the same data that determines which tips appear across the site. This is transparency, not a promise of winners.
